Tim Cook to host fundraiser for Hillary Clinton

Apple CEO Tim Cook is scheduled to host a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, according to a report from BuzzFeed


Cook will host the event as a private citizen, not in his capacity as Apple's chief executive. He will be joined by Lisa Jackson, Apple's vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives. 


The money from the event will go toward the Hillary Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee that supports Clinton's campaign as well as the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.
